There are numerous websites that offer opportunities for individual math learners to hone their skills. Many of these can be used effectively by teachers when working with groups of students. Here’s one that that was shared about a month ago by Jim Hollis on Teachers Love SMART Boards.
Shine + Write offers a collection of elementary math activities that are intended explicitly for use as “part of a whole class exposition”, or use on an interactive whiteboard. The image below shows the website’s homepage interface, and it gives an idea of the range of available activities.

The activities are engaging, and they cover a range of concepts. The two screenshots below show how the activity “Fraction Spinners” works. The spinner automatically generates random fractions, and the class is offered a choice of 5 fun physical responses.
