The news about Animoto.com is really making the rounds and I'm glad. It's a great piece of webware. While I know you focus on things that are free at this website, I would like to share that, like you, I plunked down the $30 fee for the annual animotos.com subscription, but did so after I had contacted them asking if it would be okay if I let all my students use my account throughout the year (of course one student at a time). They responded quickly with a hearty "yes"! I've found it a nice alternative if students want to make a longer than 30 sec. video. They seem to really understand that educators need a little break and didn't bat an eyelash when asked. Hat's off to those guys!
