Firefox (downloadable program) There is good reason that millions of people are now using Firefox as their web browser. Firefox is a much smaller program, and it is also much faster, than Microsoft’s IE. Firefox is known as a “tabbed” browser because you can have multiple websites open simultaneously and move from one to another quickly via a tab on a toolbar. The tabs themselves can be arranged in any order you wish simply by dragging and dropping. You can customize the appearance of Firefox with downloadable themes. As for special and specialized features, there are numerous features that can be added to Firefox as downloadable extensions. There are still a few websites that cannot be accessed by Firefox, but the number is dwindling rapidly. Firefox has been developed by Mozilla, and you can download the browser from their website.

Firefox is a cross-platform program: Windows, Mac, Linux.
